Titan Missile Museum

What was once one of America’s most top secret places is now a National Historic Landmark. This preserved Titan II missile site, officially known as complex 571-7, is all that is left of the 54 Titan II missile sites that were on alert across the United States from 1963-1987. This one-of-a-kind museum provides a rare look at the technology used by the United States to deter Nuclear War. During a one-hour guided tour, visitors view the massive 103-foot tall Titan II missile in its launch duct, descend 30 feet underground to see the 8-foot thick silo walls and 3-ton blast doors, experience a simulated missile launch in the launch control center, and much more. At the Titan Missile Museum, visitors journey through time to stand on the front lines of the Cold War.
