A graduate of The Baldwin School, Bryn Mawr, PA, and
the University of Arizona with a degree in Education and a Master’s
in Counseling and Guidance, Cornelia served as President of The National
Society of Arts and Letters, Tucson Chapter, and on the Board of The
Society of Southwestern Authors. An elementary teacher for 13 years
and volunteer memoir teacher for 114 Saturdays at the Atria Campana
del Rio Retirement complex, she also wrote gag lines for Phyllis Diller,
and articles for Southwest Art, Cat’s, Bridle and Bit, Rio Grande
Livestock Journal, Outdoor Life, The Douglas Dispatch, The Graphic,
The Tombstone Epitaph, and The New York Times.
Cornelia and her husband, Albert, are fourth-generation natives of
Douglas, Cochise County, Arizona, and provide year-round educational
tours for schools, families, organizations, seniors and the challenged
at their Picture Rocks Miniature Horse Ranch, a 501-©5 non-profit
organization, 1153517-8.
